This is a vintage 1970s two piece set consisting of a halter top and wrap skirt.  It is made in blue cotton linen with woven decoration that was done in Guatemala.  The top does up with ties at the neck and at the back, so that the back is exposed.  The skirt is made in a simple wraparound style and fastens with ties at the waist.  There are no slits in the waistband, and each tie measures 28 1/2”, so you have to wrap one tie around the waist to fasten it to the other.  The skirt is cut with a flare to the hemline so that it falls in drapes.

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this should fit a range of medium sizes, please note the following measurements for fit, taking the style of the set into account:

Top:

Bust: 18” across the front - note that the back is open

Bottom: 48” across from the end of one tie to the end of the other tie / 19” across the centre panel, exclusive of the ties

Length:  18 1/2”, measured flat

Skirt:

Waist:  41” around, exclusive of the ties / each tie has a length of 28 1/2”

Overall length: 29“, measured flat

Condition:  It is in very good condition, looks like it saw little use - clean with no wear.
